The annual three day Dart Music Festival is now in its 23rd year. The event will be held in the port and town of Dartmouth, at the mouth of the River Dart.
With over 100 performances spanning almost every musical genre, the festival offers an eclectic mix of orchestral, rock, choral, blues, opera, folk, and jazz performances at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues including two churches, the bandstand in the Park, outside the castle, and various hotels, pubs, and restaurants, throughout the weekend. And its all FREE to listen to!
The Dart Music Festival's motto is Music for All. Since it's inception in 1998, the Festival has attracted thousands of visitors and has become one of the stars in Dartmouth's calendar, appealing to old and young alike. There are many events from individual, group, and local school performances, to storytelling, dance displays and workshops.
Please keep an eye on the website www.dartmusicfestival.co.uk for further updates!

By car you can either take the main road towards Brixham (A3022), coming off at the Dartmouth Road junction and then take one of the car ferries across the river (both Higher and Lower ferries are signposted from the Dartmouth Road). Or you can drive towards Totnes and then follow signs towards Dartmouth - this route avoids the ferry crossing.
